The Typical Student
Bruce College works for the student who is motivated, determined to succeed, and prepared to work to achieve his/her ambitions.
Students join our school so they can achieve their academic potential and progress to further education either in Ireland or the U.K.
Past Academic Records
We look at past academic records like Junior Certificate results, Leaving Certificate results and previous school reports in order to estimate what could be achieved in our college. If we feel that Bruce College is not suitable, we will let you know. We know that Bruce College does not suit everyone.
The Bruce Interview
During our screening process we look for motivated students as opposed to highly motivated parents. The impetus must come from the student as no amount of encouragement will push a student who is not interested.
The College Staff
It is the policy of the college that only staff of exceptional ability are recruited. Our staff are renowned for their:
